  • This is an introductory course to software engineering. In this course, students will learn the major software engineering issues such as software requirements, design, process, and management. Students will also conduct team projects to practice how to apply major software engineering concepts and methods to software development problems.
  • This course is designed to provide undergraduate students (junior or senior level) with fundamental knowledge on nanoscience and nanomaterials. Nanotechnology comprises nanoscale characterization, nanomaterial, and nanofabrication. Students will learn broad fields of nanotechnology from basic level with numerous examples.

  • Production and Operations Management is one of the three basic functional areas(finance, operation/production, and marketing). Production/Operations management deals with the management of systems or processes that create goods and/or provide services. Among the topics of this course are forecasting, product and service design, capacity planning, management of quality and quality control, inventory management, and scheduling, supply chain management, and project management.
